Looks like Romo wasn't as fine as he thought.

Tony Romo left after the third play of a preseason game against Seattle on Thursday night, but the Cowboys veteran says he's fine. ESPN reports that Romo was held out of the game after he took a nasty hit from the Seahawks' Cliff Avril.
Romo was sacked from behind by Avril, and he grabbed his lower back after standing up. He had surgery on his back after sustaining an injury last season.
"Whenever you take a hit, that was a perfect timed situation," Romo said. "I was going into a slide. But in a weird way, I feel good about the fact that was probably as tough of a hit I've taken on the back as I've had in the last five years."
Backups Dak Prescott and Jameill Showers played the rest of the game at quarterback for Dallas and combined threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns.
