Tony Romo's had quite the roller coaster of an offseason, but his future plans may finally be crystalizing as the NFL Network's Jeff Darlington is reporting that Romo's options are down to just two options: Play for the Houston Texans or retire.

The Denver Broncos, who have shown they will go after older, injury-prone star quarterbacks in the past to win a championship aren't reportedly jumping at the chance to bring in Romo. John Elway did just draft Paxton Lynch in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, and he's always seemed pretty content with Trevor Siemian as his stop-gap quarterback in Denver.
After the Houston Texans moved on from Brock Osweiler in their blockbuster trade with Cleveland, it seemed like they were the favorites to win the Romo Sweepstakes this offseason.
With the Texans being the last team linked to Romo, along with the report earlier in the day that Romo has post-football options with FOX or CBS, it's no longer a definite we see Romo under-center in 2017.
