In view of the schedule release for the upcoming 2025 NFL season, there are some teams who may have a tougher road to a championship than others. Based on 2024 opponents' win percentages and 2025 projected win totals, here is a list of the NFL teams who supposedly have the most challenging schedules:

5.) Minnesota Vikings
- Opponents' 2024 Win Percentage: .557%
Coming off a Wild Card loss after finishing with a 14-3 record during the 2024 regular season, the Vikings may have to overcome even more obstacles in 2025. That is, already facing strong divisional opponents in the NFC North, they will also have to matchup with the gritty AFC North squads (Bengals, Browns, Ravens, Steelers) in addition to facing the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles.
4.) Philadelphia Eagles
- Opponents' 2024 Win Percentage: .561%
The schedule makers didn't exactly make it easy on the 2024 champion Eagles for this upcoming season, as they will have six challenging road games vs. playoff teams: Chiefs, Bills, Packers, Vikings, Chargers, and Buccaneers.
3.) Chicago Bears
- Opponents' 2024 Win Percentage: .571%
Once again another NFC North team will have to show their resiliency, as the Bears will be playing road games vs. the following teams: Packers, Lions, Vikings, Ravens, Commanders, 49ers, Bengals, and Eagles. With a new head coach Ben Johnson and an array of draft picks to play alongside 2024 No. 1 overall pick QB Caleb Williams, hopes are still high this season in Chicago.
2.) Detroit Lions
- Opponents' 2024 Win Percentage: .571%
The Detroit Lions lost in the Divisional Round to the Washington Commanders, yet their 15-2 record proved they are knocking on the door for a title run. Nevertheless, for this 2025 season every game will be a battle, as seven out of nine road games will be played against 2024 playoff teams. To note, their road opponents combined for a .667 win % in 2024, which is the highest road strength of schedule in the Super Bowl era (since 1970).

- Opponents' 2024 Win Percentage: .574% (highest in the NFL)
The New York Giants are hoping to improve off their tumultuous 3-14 record (tied-worst) last season, however, it won't get much easier for the G-Men this year, as six of eight home games are against 2024 playoff teams. To point out, almost every game the Giants play in, they will be considered the underdog; only two opponents are projected to have less than 7.5 wins in 2025.
