Titled "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins," the series features Morgan as the titular character. His goal is to rebuild his reputation after being banned by the league, so he hires filmmakers to make a documentary.
The reason for the ban is that Dinkins revealed he had bet on the New York Jets games when he played for the AFC East team.

Radcliffe co-stars as Arthur Tobin, the filmmaker tasked with following Dinkins around. The series also stars "Saturday Night Live" alum Bobby Moynihan and "Get Out" actor Erika Alexander among many others.
The cast list also includes actor-comedian Craig Robinson. He plays Jerry Basmati, the longtime rival of Dinkins. "Saturday Night Light" alum Heidi Gardner plays Basmati's wife, Tisha, who has her own rivalry with Dinkins' ex-wife, Monica (Alexander).
The creators of this series also created "30 Rock," the sitcom focused on a fake comedy sketch series. Morgan also starred in "30 Rock" alongside Tina Fey, who serves as an executive producer on "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins."
The other executive producers include Robert Carlock — also the showrunner — Eric Gurian, Sam Means, David Miner, Morgan, and Rhys Thomas. Means and Carlock wrote the series while Thomas served as director.
"The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins" will officially debut with two episodes on Feb. 23, starting at 8 p.m. ET. The series will air on NBC before moving to Peacock the next day. The series will then 8:30 p.m. ET on March 2 and beyond while continuing with the first season.
NFL fans will get an early look at the new series, however. The pilot will air on NBC on Sunday, Jan. 18, immediately after the conclusion of the divisional round game between the Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears.
