Travis Kelce has been through plenty of battles in his career, but Sunday looked like it tested every ounce of his patience.

During the Chiefs' 20-17 loss to the Eagles — a rematch of last season's Super Bowl — the 35-year-old tight end was caught on camera slamming his helmet and yelling, "I'm sick of this s-t!" The moment came just before halftime with Kansas City holding a slim 10-7 lead, but it summed up Kelce's afternoon.
In the fourth quarter, Kelce let a pass from Patrick Mahomes slip through his hands. The ball bounced into the arms of Eagles safety Andrew Mukuba, who set up a Philly touchdown and a commanding 20-10 lead.
Mahomes tried to take the blame in his postgame remarks, saying he released the ball "a tad too early," but the frustration on Kelce's face said plenty. He spent the ensuing series pacing on the sideline, visibly fuming at himself.
Adding to the buzz, fiancée Taylor Swift reportedly snuck into Arrowhead Stadium, though the Fox broadcast never showed her.
The loss came months after Philadelphia smacked Kansas City in Super Bowl LIX, 40-22, ending the Chiefs' bid for a historic three-peat. Kelce, who managed only four catches for 39 yards that night, admitted in the offseason he briefly considered retirement before recommitting to a 13th NFL campaign.
He trained in Florida, slimmed down, and drew praise from Andy Reid, who said Kelce looked "half his age" at camp. But two weeks in, the Chiefs are 0-2 and Kelce's sideline meltdown is the latest viral clip in a season already under a microscope.
Next up: a trip to MetLife Stadium to face the 0-2 Giants.
