'She Shined': Travis and Jason Kelce Get Emotional Reflecting on Their Mom's Super Bowl Moment

Super Bowl LVII was never going to end with both Kelce brothers hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. As the first pair of brothers to play in a Super Bowl against each other, Travis and Jason took every second of the two-week lead-up to the NFL's biggest game to celebrate their bond, their brotherhood and their family.

After the confetti had fallen and championship hats were handed out, Travis and Jason stepped in front of their microphones to record their weekly podcast.

Get your tissues ready, folks. Things are about to get emotional.

On their weekly podcast following the game, Jason and Travis recounted Super Bowl LVII. But one brother got choked up talking about their mom, Donna, and her incredible week in the Super Bowl spotlight.

"The moment I saw Mom was when I got really emotional. Because man, it was so awesome," Jason said, his voice breaking as he held back tears. Taking a moment to collect himself, Jason was joined in his tearful remembrance by Travis, who wiped his tears with his sweatshirt. "She was on top of the world, for a week," Jason continued.

"She was the heavyweight champ, man," Travis added, accompanying his interjection with a sniffle. "She was on top of it, and she shined the whole time, man. That was the coolest part. Mom, you absolutely killed it. Dad, you've been killin' it."

"It was just so cool, man. To see, ya know, her get to celebrate that with us," Jason added, still choking back tears. "It was an awesome moment. Just so happy for her and so happy that she got her moment. Dad got his, so yeah. I was the only, ya know, ironically, to lose the Super Bowl, and you're crying after the game and they're not tears of sadness, ya know, they're tears of joy."
