The elder Kelce, the Eagles' All-Pro center has been the subject of swirling speculation that Philadelphia's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Wild Card Game was his last. Reports even surfaced that Kelce informed his teammates in the locker room afterwards that he plans on retiring.

Travis doesn't believe Jason is ready to walk away.

"It's cool to see everybody appreciate who he's been over the years, this past week," Travis Kelce told reporters, ahead of the Chiefs' AFC Divisional Playoff Game against the Bills. "But, I think the big guy still has some football left, if he wants it."

Jason Kelce won a Super Bowl with the Eagles following the 2017 season, and squared off against his brother and the Chiefs last February in Super Bowl LVII.

Meanwhile, over the past several years speculation about each particular season being Kelce's last have persisted.

"It came out that he retired," Travis Kelce explained. "And he didn't really say any of that. It's just ... The end of that game, I think everyone really felt for him, because he has been thinking about it a lot over the past couple years. The documentary shows that, you don't really have to go around asking anybody."

During a recent episode of the Kelce brothers' podcast 'New Heights,' Jason revealed that the magnitude of the season ending in Tampa Bay weighed heavily on him.

"I just don't think you're in a position after a game like that to really make that decision," Jason Kelce said. "I just don't. There's too much emotion in the moment, there's too much going down in the moment, to really fully grasp that decision. I'm not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out, I'm really not."
