That's because Kelce, fresh off another Super Bowl victory, will indeed be the host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? The new game show is coming to Prime Video. It's a spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? And anyone smarter than a third-grader probably could have figured out that one.
Of course, Kelce is mostly in the news these days for his nearly yearlong dating relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Kelce has won three Super Bowls as quarterback Patrick Mahomes' main man with the Chiefs. Now, Kelce is getting the chance to work on his broadcasting chops as he prepares for life after football.
For Prime, it's the perfect match, referring to Kelce as the "class clown" of the NFL.
"After producing more than 3,000 episodes of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? globally, we wanted to come up with a new, loud twist on the format. Replacing the kids with celebrities gives us more laughs and surprises, like a roast, as contestants cheat off their famous classmates," Barry Poznick said, general manager of MGM Alternative and co-creator of the series. "And now, with the ultimate class clown, Travis Kelce, hosting, viewers should expect the unexpected!"
