Son of Ken Griffey Jr.'s NFL career reportedly just took another turn

Oh?

After hitting an initial roadblock in his NFL career Trey Griffey —- son of the great Ken Griffey Jr. —- is now back on track to get his shot at the NFL. After agreeing to be waived by the Colts, Griffey is now headed south in a reported signing.

Griffey went undrafted and that was probably because he struggled a bit with injuries during his career at Arizona, but the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder was still a productive option thanks to his size and athleticism. Griffey had 1,241 receiving yards in his career to go with six touchdowns, with his best season coming in 2014 where he had 31 receptions and over 400 yards.
