Kroy "KJ" Biermann Jr. was arrested Aug. 17 in Alpharetta, Georgia, and initially held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, according to Us Weekly.

The teenager was later indicted on seven felony counts, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16 and false imprisonment, according to Page Six.

The charges involve allegations made by a 15-year-old female classmate concerning an April 23 incident. KJ was 14 at the time.

His mother strongly denied the allegations following his arrest.

"The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling," Zolciak told Us Weekly, adding that KJ "categorically denies" the accusations.

Zolciak also said her son voluntarily took and passed a polygraph examination and that an examination of the accuser did not find his DNA. Page Six likewise reported that no male DNA was found during a medical examination following the alleged incident.

KJ's attorney, Jason Sheffield, has maintained his client's innocence and said he expects KJ to plead not guilty to all charges at his Oct. 14 arraignment.

KJ is the eldest biological son of Zolciak, best known for "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," and Biermann, who played eight NFL seasons with the Atlanta Falcons.
