The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars have a few things in common in that they both find creative ways to disappoint their fans and are both in Florida. That might be it, but now they are both reportedly a part of a trade that could help out both sides.

The Dolphins are going to try to shore up a position of weakness at tight end with Jordan Cameron likely retiring due to concussion and no real threats there currently on the roster. The Jaguars are going to try and help their young quarterback —- who they hope to be the franchise QB —- in Blake Bortles by giving him an offensive tackle. Miami is reportedly working to finalize a trade that would send offensive tackle Branden Albert to Jacksonville in exchange for tight end Julius Thomas, according to Miami Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly.
Per the report, both players involved in the trade would likely need to restructure their contracts and pass physicals in order to make the deal happen, though it can't be finalized until March 9. Albert is a two-time Pro Bowler and could have saved the Dolphins $7.2 million if they had released him by Thursday, but held off because of a trade offer.
Meanwhile, Thomas is currently slated to make $24.7 million over the next three seasons, including a guaranteed $3.1 million in 2017. The 28-year-old tight end has 184 receptions for 2,013 yards and 33 touchdowns over the past four seasons, the first two of which were spent with the Denver Broncos.
