Former Hall of Fame Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis was involved in an incident that led him to being kicked off a United Airlines flight. Davis was traveling from Denver, Colorado to Orange County, California with his wife and three kids Saturday, when he seemingly had to deal with an unruly flight attendant.

It all started when Davis' son had asked the airline worker for some ice, and he evidently was ignored. This then led to Davis gently tapping the attendant on the shoulder to get their attention, that is to say, things escalated from there, as the erratic employee yelled, "don't hit me."
Then after landing, the pilot told all the passengers to remain seated, as six FBI agents got on board and subsequently handcuffed the former NFL player, removing him from the plane.
After hearing Davis' side of the story, the law enforcement realized that the flight attendant exaggerated the accusations.
Davis wrote, "I was - and remain - humiliated, embarrassed, powerless, and angry."

"I refuse to stand by without speaking out on this disgusting display of injustice and deplorable treatment by United Airlines," the 51-year-old said.
United issued a statement on the matter, saying that they fired the employee.
"This is clearly not the kind of travel experience we strive to provide, and we have reached out to Mr. Davis's team to apologize," United said in a statement. "We have removed the flight attendant from duty while we closely review this matter."
Throughout his seven-year NFL career, Davis was a 3x Pro-Bowler, as the Broncos all-time leading rusher, racked up 7,607 yards and 60 touchdowns in 78 games. In addition he was the 1998 season MVP and won two Super Bowls (XXXII- 1998; XXXIII- 1999).
Davis was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2017, and now he currently is an analyst for NFL Network.
