Former NFL star and longtime sports media personality Marcellus Wiley will not face criminal charges stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident involving his estranged wife.

Prosecutors in Orange County, Florida, declined to pursue the case against Wiley, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.
The reason was straightforward: Prosecutors said the allegations weren't supported by enough additional evidence to secure a conviction.
"Testimonial evidence received is not corroborated by any physical or other evidence and is therefore insufficient to obtain a conviction," the filing stated.
Wiley had been arrested after his estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, called police following an alleged confrontation inside a Florida hotel room. She accused Wiley of poking her in the cheek and threatening to kill her.

Wiley has adamantly denied the allegations. After learning prosecutors wouldn't pursue the case, the former Pro Bowl defensive end celebrated the decision publicly.
"The illusion is OVER," Wiley wrote on X, later adding, "FALSE ALLEGATIONS HAVE REAL VICTIMS TOO."
There is another layer to the story. Sources close to Annemarie told TMZ Sports that authorities never informed her that prosecutors had decided against pursuing the charge. She reportedly learned of the development without receiving advance notification from Florida officials.
The decision also does not end the former couple's legal disputes.
Annemarie filed for divorce and sought a restraining order after the alleged incident, accusing Wiley of violence during their marriage. Wiley has denied those allegations as well.
According to TMZ, the divorce and domestic violence restraining-order proceedings remain ongoing in California, and the temporary restraining order remains in effect.
So while Wiley's Florida criminal case has ended without charges, the broader legal battle between the former NFL star and his estranged wife has not.
