Tim Tebow does a bang up job as an analyst for the SEC Network and of course was a legendary quarterback during his tenure at Florida. He had some brief success in the NFL with the Denver Broncos where he won a playoff game off a walk-off touchdown in 2011. However, he was traded to the New York Jets after Denver signed Peyton Manning and never found his niche in the league.
He doesn't want to play any position other than quarterback, which has kept teams from signing him as a free agent for their special teams. Urban Meyer talked with Mike Mayock of the NFL Network and said that Tebow might consider playing in Canada if the opportunity was right so that he could get the experience necessary to make a team in the NFL.
"I think that's a great point and I was actually in a conversation with him about going to Canada. The situation — his family and I were involved in it — we just didn't think it was the right one. I think if there's a right one I think he'd probably do it."
Meyer was rooting for Tebow in Philadelphia with Chip Kelly, but that didn't quite work out and now he's in the booth and behind a desk. But at least he looks good doing it and has plenty of fans on SEC campuses.
