So, if you're still reeling from the achilles tear heard 'round the world or simply wondering why your lineup didn't perform, we've got you covered with who to start in fantasy football Week 2. Dive into our "faves and fades" for the scoop on who's set to shine and who might be a dud. Here's to second chances and smarter picks!

Faves: Who to Start in Fantasy Football Week 2

Rhamondre Stevenson v. Miami Dolphins (8:20 p.m ET, NBC)

After a tough Week 1 showdown with the Eagles' resilient defense, Stevenson is primed to bounce back against the Dolphins, who conceded over 200 rushing yards last game. Expect the Patriots to play keep-away from Miami's offense, leaning on Stevenson to control the clock.

Mike Williams @ Tennessee Titans (1 p.m ET, CBS)

Following a muted start to the season and a minor injury hiccup, Williams faces a Titans defense that struggled to contain the Saints' wide receivers in Week 1. Known for scoring in clusters, Williams might have a standout week ahead.

Zay Flowers @ Cincinnati Bengals (1 p.m ET, CBS)

While this week presents a daunting matchup on paper, Flowers impressed in his rookie debut with diverse roles on offense. The return of Mark Andrews might shift the game plan, but with J.K. Dobbins sidelined, Flowers could be in line for some additional manufactured touches.

Luke Musgrave @ Atlanta Falcons (1 p.m ET, FOX)

Tight ends typically face a steep learning curve upon entering the NFL, but Musgrave looked right at home last week. He secured 3 out of 4 passes for 50 yards, and the lone miss could have been an easy touchdown if the throw was accurate. Given Atlanta's struggles against Hayden Hurst recently, Musgrave's prospects for Week 2 are promising.

Fades: Who to Sit in Fantasy Football Week 2

Garrett Wilson @ Dallas Cowboys (4:25 p.m ET, CBS)

Echoing last week's advice on Najee Harris, you might not have the luxury of benching a high draft pick like Garrett Wilson. However, facing the formidable Dallas defense, it's a good idea to manage your expectations this week.

Terry McClaurin @ Denver Broncos (4:25 p.m ET, CBS)

McClaurin stands out as one of the league's top wide receivers. Still, he faces a tough matchup this week, likely marked by All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain. And with QB Sam Howell still finding his rhythm, there might be safer options on your roster than McClaurin for Week 2.

Raheem Mostert @ New England (8:20 p.m ET, NBC)

Last week, the Dolphins took to the air against the Chargers, limiting Mostert's opportunities. While he's expected to get more volume this week, he's up against a well-coached New England defense. It might not be a complete letdown, but if you have depth in the position, you might want to consider other starting options.

Cam Akers v. San Francisco 49ers (4:05 p.m ET, FOX)

With only 29 yards on 22 carries last week, Akers has another uphill battle this week. Given that teammate Kyren Williams saw more productivity on fewer carries, we'd advise looking elsewhere for your RB slot.

Dak Prescott v. New York Jets (4:25 p.m ET, CBS)

While Dak had a lighter role last week thanks to a dominant defense, this week he confronts a Jets defense that recently overwhelmed Josh Allen and the Bills. This matchup might turn into a defensive showdown, suggesting it might be wise to explore other QB options for Week 2.
