Yahoo is paying between $10 to $20 million to broadcast a Bills-Jaguars game

It doesn't matter if you have the NFL Sunday Ticket or the NFL RedZone channel. When Oct. 25 rolls around, you won't find the telecast of the Buffalo Bills-Jacksonville Jaguars game on your television guide.

For the first time ever, the NFL is exclusively broadcasting a game on a digital-only platform. Today, it was announced that Yahoo has won the rights to broadcast the game. Media reports peg the rights fee from $10 million to $20 million.

In addition to the digital-only platform, the league will have that game kickoff at 9:30 a.m. ET, which is the same kickoff time as the games in London this past year.

Personally, it's a great move for the NFL because this allows the league to potentially get more eyeballs on the game. Wherever Internet is offered, you'll be able to watch the game. For a league always looking to make a couple of more dollars, the potential growth this can do for the league is exponential.

If this is a mega success, we may see a huge shift in what the NFL decides to do for future games. As of now, all I know is this isn't the end of the league streaming games online, that's for sure.
