Another one bites the dust. Another one says, "Nah, I'm good." Grant Udinski is officially out of the Browns' head coaching search, opting instead to stay in Jacksonville with a new deal as the Jaguars' offensive coordinator. That makes three candidates who have now removed themselves from Cleveland's coaching carousel.

You cannot make this up.
Udinski, just 30 years old, had interviewed with the Browns twice and was reportedly viewed as a finalist. Instead, he chose stability, sunshine, and not stepping into whatever this current situation is in Berea. Can you blame him?
He is still free to pursue the Bills' head coaching job, by the way. So this is not a "done chasing jobs" move. This is a very specific "not this job" move.
Meanwhile, Cleveland's remaining candidate list reads like a mystery box. Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Former Ravens OC Todd Monken. Commanders run game coordinator Anthony Lynn. Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase, who the Browns' brass is reportedly flying out to meet in Los Angeles.
Kevin Stefanski is already gone. He lasted six seasons. Now he is the Falcons' head coach. The Browns, meanwhile, are left reshuffling the deck again.
At this point, it feels less like a coaching search and more like a reality show where contestants keep walking off set.
What a circus. But for the past few years, a circus has been the Browns' way.
