You’d think the Cowboys won the Super Bowl the way they just threw down on the bye week

That is a whole lot of cognac!

The Dallas Cowboys don't have to worry about staying in game shape this week as they are on a bye week. That means it's time to hit up a super expensive restaurant and make all the rookies pay for it. It's a tradition for all NFL teams to host a "rookie dinner" where the first year players pay for an entire meal eaten by the whole team.

Well, you would think the Cowboys had just won the Super Bowl with the kind of bill they racked up as it was worth almost $55,000! Here's a photo that someone took of the bill and there were 21 shots of Louis XIII cognac worth $250 a pop.

Dallas Cowboys Rookie Dinner Bill $54,000

Holy smokes! According to an excerpt from a Scout article on this, Dez Bryant said a lot of the guys ended up paying for themselves since this team is more about brotherhood than rookie hazing. If that means that some guys didn't have their part of the bill show up on this one, then we can safely assume that number should be doubled, right?

Imagine what will happen if they actually win the Super Bowl this year.
