With the Dallas Stars leading 5-2 and 1:00 left in regulation, somehow the Vancouver Canucks scored three straight goals before the final buzzer to force overtime.

That is, on an empty net, Vancouver scored at the 59.1 seconds mark (3-5), then at 28.4 seconds (4-5), and had the game-tying goal with only 5.2 seconds left (5-5), before Kiefer Sherwood scored the game-winning goal with 1:16 left in OT.

The Vancouver Canucks' 6-5 victory may go down as the greatest late-game comeback in sports history, as they became the first NHL team to overcome a three-goal deficit in the final minute of regulation and win.

Vancouver now improves to a 36-29 record, while Dallas still holds their No. 2 seed in the Western Conference standings with a 50-22 record.
