This latest home burglary comes after other notable famous athletes had also been robbed, such as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce, as well as Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Local county police spokesman Jim Madalinsky spoke on this in a prepared statement to the public.
"At this time, detectives have not received any information to indicate this incident is tied to any of the reported organizations targeting professional athletes across the country... However, this remains an active investigation."
In view of Saturday's game, the Penguins fell to the Senators 5-0, and currently have an 18-18 record this season.
