Sometimes, the best moments aren't planned. What started as a routine NHL pregame anthem at KeyBank Center turned into something fans won't forget anytime soon.

During the singing of "O Canada," a microphone issue cut out Cami Clune mid-performance.
That could've gone sideways fast. Instead, the crowd took over.
Fans inside the arena picked up the anthem and carried it the rest of the way, loud and in sync, turning a technical glitch into a pretty powerful moment. The video has since made the rounds online, and it's easy to see why.
Clune felt it right away.
"Honestly, it felt so great, because I felt so supported in that moment," she said. "Buffalo is really the city of good neighbors. We all support each other."
She added that the moment was bigger than hockey.
"I think it was just such a symbol of unity. Music is a universal language. It really connected both countries together."
Clune said she initially expected a replacement mic, but once she realized what was happening, she let the crowd roll.
"We're just going to let this happen," she said. "This is going to be a cool community moment."
And it was.
Fans from both sides of the border leaned into it, with many calling it emotional and a reminder of how connected Western New York and Canada really are. One thing was clear. Nobody cared about the mic by the end of it.
Just a packed building, one anthem, and everyone on the same page.
