Kevin Durant Calls Out Nike After Being Left Off Paris Olympics Ad

The sportswear company Nike recently released an advertising campaign, "Winning Isn't for Everyone," ahead of the Paris Olympics, which featured notable sponsored athletes, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Wembanyama, Serena Williams, Kylian Mbappé and some others. That is to say, many, including the star himself, were wondering why Kevin Durant wasn't included.

Considering that KD signed a lifetime deal with Nike in 2023, it is hard to imagine why they would leave him off.

Durant took to social media, "@nike tell me, am I a bad person????... Been with y'all every step of the way... Even during the quarantine Olympics @nike."

Then Rich Kleiman, who is Durant's agent, shared an Instagram post which pointed out the NBA player's partnership with Kith and USA Basketball, sarcastically making the statement, "It is so nice to be seen."

Notably, Nike signed KD back in 2007, and together they have released 17 signature sneakers together.

As he is set to compete at the upcoming 2024 Paris Games, Durant joins LeBron and Carmelo Anthony in becoming the only Americans to appear in four Olympics.

At 35 years old, Durant is a 3x Olympic gold medalist (2012, 2016, 2020) and is the statistical leader for Team USA in points (435; 19.8 ppg), field goals (146), 3-point field goals (74), and free throws (69).
