Simone Biles Trolls Ex-Olympic Teammate After Winning Gold And Then Gets Blocked

Earlier this month, ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, there was some tension between former U.S. Olympic gymnast MyKayla Skinner and five-time gold medal winner Simone Biles.

It all started when Skinner, who was a silver medal winner at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, took to social media recording herself making a video criticizing the current Team USA roster.

"A lot of girls don't work as hard," she said. "The girls just don't have the work ethic."

At the time, Biles took to social media to post a response, "not everyone needs a mic and a platform," which was assuredly targeted at Skinner.

Following this, Skinner came out and said they misinterpreted her words, and the 27-year-old even appeared to give a congratulatory post to the U.S. gymnastics team after they claimed victory in Paris.

However, her original comments were certainly not forgotten as Biles did a little more talking after winning the gold medal.

On Instagram, Biles posted pictures of her with the team celebrating their 2024 Olympic success, with a caption of: "lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions."

The group of American gymnasts seemingly all ganged up on Skinner, as former Olympian McKayla Maroney (2012 London Games) commented, "She f'd around n found out fr. Feels like I need to apologize just to redeem my first name."

With this in mind, the drama didn't end there, as it was later revealed that Biles and the rest of the Team USA gymnasts were blocked by Skinner.
