Simone Biles has undergone a medical procedure weeks after revealing that she experienced a frightening health scare.

The seven-time Olympic gold medalist shared an update on Instagram while spending time with her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens.
"His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure," Biles wrote alongside a photo of the couple.
The 29-year-old appeared to be in good spirits afterward, joking that she woke up from the procedure singing a BossMan Dlow song.
Biles has not revealed what the procedure involved or provided details about the health issue that preceded it.
In early June, the gymnastics legend alarmed fans when she posted a photo wearing a hospital wristband and revealed that she had endured a serious medical episode.
"Almost dying wasn't on my bingo card earlier this week," Biles wrote at the time.
When fans asked for more information, Biles made clear she wasn't yet comfortable discussing what happened.
"Not ready to talk about it just yet," she replied.
Since then, Biles has returned to public life. She has shared photos from a beach vacation and recently attended the ESPYs in New York with Owens.
Biles is the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, winning 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals during her career.
Whether she'll add to that remarkable total remains uncertain. Biles has yet to decide if she will attempt to compete at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
The good news is that Biles appears to be recovering and enjoying time with her husband after what she described as a frightening experience.
