Ring of Honor reveals new championship belt designs

These are slick!

New Year? New Ring of Honor championship belt designs, as the wrestling promotion debuted the new-look belts by way of a video package.

Let's get the video out of the way first, then we'll provide some stills of the belts:

Some tremendous generic rock music later, and we have ourselves some fancy new belts.

Here's a still of the six man tag team titles:

For those unaware, the Bullet Club trio of The Young Bucks and Adam "Hangman" Page are the current six man tag team title holders; the Motor City Machine Guns, comprised of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, are the tag team title holders; and as for the TV title, Silas Young gets that gorgeous looking belt.

Changing design schemes is a rather common practice in professional wrestling. While not all go over well, the changing of design often represents a soft re-branding of sorts for some promotions that have struggled. Other times, it is simply a way to provide a more modern feel to otherwise outdated belts.

It was only a few weeks ago that Ring of Honor debuted a new World championship belt at Final Battle. Couple that with the first ever Women of Honor title, and it appears the company is attempting to be as fresh as possible for 2018.
