Pro wrestling legend Ric Flair has now been hospitalized for two weeks, and possibly the best news yet has emerged since his hospitalization.
On Saturday, Flair's daughter — five-time WWE women's champion Charlotte — appeared to announce that she would be returning to WWE ring for the first time since her father was hospitalized. The younger Flair sent out this tweet with the next locations of SmackDown live events, as well as the the show's television location on Tuesday.
If Charlotte is leaving her father's side in order to return, that is probably a great sign considering that she took an emergency flight back from a WWE event in China two weeks ago in order to be with her father in an Atlanta-area hospital.
Since he was admitted to the hospital, Flair has had at least one surgery. The surgery in question has been reported as a bowel surgery in order to remove a blockage. Flair is also reportedly dealing with kidney issues and had had a pacemaker inserted to regulate his heart.
Flair is one of the most recognizable figures in pro wrestling history, having dominated the scene from the 1970s and well into the 1990s. Flair is recognized by WWE as a 16-time world champion, and he has been inducted into their Hall of Fame two times — once individually, and once as a member of the Four Horsemen.
