In 2006, a 22-year-old woman filed a report at the Boca Raton Police Department against the then-60-year-old McMahon.
According to the report, McMahon asked the woman to take a photo of him to send to his girlfriend in New York. The owner of the WWE and now XFL reportedly began showing her nude and semi-nude photos of himself before she asked him to stop.
After 20 minutes of tanning, the woman noted McMahon spoke with people in the salon and eventually followed her into a room where she had gone to clean the tanning bed and he shut the door. According to the report, McMahon grabbed her, tried to kiss her and attempted to lift her shirt up as she attempted to push him away. McMahon said he was "only trying to have some fun," according to the woman, who proceeded to go to a nearby Papa John's to get help.
The woman reportedly spoke to her manager, who advised not calling police. According to the report, there was "probable cause" to believe McMahon did actually and intentionally touch the accuser. Despite reported probable cause, the State Attorney did not bring charges against McMahon.
"A misdemeanor that is not done in the presence of a law enforcement officer in Florida generally is not a prosecutable case unless there is a independent witnesses and or physical evidence as in photos — that kind of thing," Palm Beach County State Attorney Mike Edmondson said, per the report.
According to the report, the State Attorney records are gone, as of January 29, 2009.
McMahon relaunched the XFL on Friday in addition to his regular duties with the WWE. The CEO and chairman was married to Linda McMahon at the time of the allegations.
