Muni, 26, flashed the ring. The message landed.
Congrats poured in almost immediately, including from fellow F1 drivers like Carlos Sainz and Yuki Tsunoda. No surprise there. Albon, 29, is one of the more well-liked guys in the paddock.
The two have been together since 2019, after connecting in a very 2020s way. Muni binge-watched Drive to Survive, followed Albon on social media, and the rest sort of took off from there. They met in person not long after during a trip to Los Angeles.
It stuck.
Both are competing at the highest levels of their sports, and that's been a big part of why it works. As Albon once put it, they "get each other." The travel, the pressure, the grind. No explanations needed.
Albon has also been open about the mental toll of Formula One, especially during his time with Red Bull Racing. He leaned on professional help to get through it and has been steady since.
Now comes the next chapter.
No wedding details yet. But the grid just added another power couple headline.
