Busch turns to Ross Chastain for Super Bowl 59 advertisement

The NFL and NASCAR are crossing over once again. This time, Ross Chastain will join forces with Busch Beer to highlight the art of going in circles.

The Super Bowl 59 ad, which Busch released on Feb. 5, features the Busch Guy providing more survival tips for outdoor enthusiasts lost in the woods. He explained that to avoid going in circles, they need to find recognizable landmarks. In this case, the landmark was Chastain's No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro with a tent on the roof.

"What's wrong with going in circles," an incredulous Chastain asked as he unzipped the door to his tent. Even while camping, the Trackhouse Racing driver still had on his firesuit.

"I used to daydream about seeing my race schedule hung up at my local bar in Busch Light's famous blues and whites," Chastain said in a press release. "Now I'm not only on those walls, but in a commercial that will air in my hometown during the big game and across the nation this NASCAR season, starting with the Daytona 500!

"I've manifested this moment my entire life, and I can't thank Busch Light enough for supporting my racing career through their massive platform. It's a dream come true — and so was cracking open a cold Busch Light with the iconic Busch Guy after a long, fun day filming in the woods."

Chastain joined the Busch family last season after Kevin Harvick hung up his firesuit to join Fox Sports. The beer company took over the No. 1 Chevrolet for 16 of the 36 points-paying races while showcasing a variety of schemes. One, in particular, was a crossover between Busch Beer and Crocs.

The Trackhouse Racing driver now enters his second season as a Busch athlete, and he becomes the latest NASCAR driver to feature in a Super Bowl commercial. He follows Dale Earnhardt Jr., who had multiple appearances during the Big Game.

One Budweiser ad featured the Hall of Famer as the designated driver for actor Ed Helms. A Diet Mountain Dew ad saw him flushing out ducks for a pair of hunters. One Super Bowl commercial featured him scoring a touchdown in the No. 8 Budweiser Chevy while another saw him driving across the country to deliver some lost lipstick.

There are multiple other examples of Earnhardt appearing during the Big Game. Chastain isn't yet on a pace to match this output, but it is possible as long as he remains a Busch Beer driver.
