According to the announcement, Perry will take to the stage on Sept. 25. This performance will take place the same day as the third practice session (4:30 a.m. ET) and qualifying (8 a.m. ET). The actual Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place on Sept. 26 at 7 a.m. ET) as the track celebrates a decade of hosting F1.

This is not the first time that Perry has taken in an F1 event. She previously attended the F1 Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi at Yas Marina Circuit in December 2025. She watched on-track sessions and performed for the fans.

She also attended the Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay Street Circuit in September 2012. This particular trip to Singapore featured Perry taking in the sights and sounds of the starting grid. She also took to the stage for a performance for the fans.

Another performer will join Perry for the race weekend. According to announcers, Scottish producer and DJ Calvin Harris will entertain the fans as the other headliner. This will mark a continuation of his relationship with the open wheel racing series.

Harris previously performed at Bahrain in 2013, Singapore in 2017, Abu Dhabi in 2017, Saudi Arabia in 2023, and Silverstone in 2023.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will mark the 15th round of what has been an altered schedule. The ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran forced the FIA to cancel both the April 12 Grand Prix in Bahrain and the April 19 Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia.

The teams had the entire month of April off before returning to action in South Florida. They took on the Miami Grand Prix on May 3 as Kimi Antonelli won his third consecutive event.
