Taylor Gray qualified second with a lap of 32.789 seconds. Fellow playoff drivers Rajah Caruth (32.816 seconds), Nick Sanchez (32.840 seconds), and Ty Majeski (32.882 seconds) rounded out the top five.

The other playoff drivers who qualified in the top 10 were Christian Eckes in eighth (33.025 seconds) and Grant Enfinger in ninth (33.048 seconds). Tyler Ankrum in 15th (33.128 seconds) was the lone playoff driver to miss the top 10.

Multiple drivers were unable to take part in qualifying. Tanner Gray's No. 15 Toyota Tundra sustained damage during practice. The team skipped qualifying to get the truck ready for Saturday afternoon's race.

Spencer Boyd also missed the qualifying session. Freedom Racing Enterprises had a starter go bad in the No. 76 Chevrolet Silverado. The team replaced the starter to be ready for the race.

The Truck Series race will take place Saturday at 12 p.m. ET. FS1 will provide coverage on TV while SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and MRN will provide the radio call.

This race will potentially send a playoff driver to the Championship 4. Enfinger is the only driver with a spot in the final round of the playoffs, which he secured by winning at Talladega Superspeedway.

Heim holds the best position among the other playoff drivers. He is 30 points above the cutline. Eckes is 29 points above while Majeski is five points above. Majeski is the only driver in the lineup with a Truck Series win at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The four drivers below the cutline with two races remaining in the Round of 8 are Caruth (-5), Gray (-13), Sanchez (-20), and Ankrum (-23).
