How to watch Cup Series finale: Start time, TV info

AVONDALE, Ariz. — Thirty-five Cup Series races are complete. Now it's time for the finale at Phoenix Raceway.

The 1-mile track will once again take center stage as the Championship 4 drivers battle for the biggest prize in the sport. Joey Logano, William Byron, Tyler Reddick, and Ryan Blaney will enter the day full of hope. Only one will celebrate at the end of the day.

Cup Series finale at Phoenix Raceway information

Weather: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for sunny skies, a high of 75 degrees, and no chance of rain at the start of the Cup Series finale.

Green flag time: The command to fire engines will be at 3:22 p.m. ET. The starter will wave the green flag at 3:31 p.m. ET.

Starting lineup: Martin Truex Jr. won the pole for his final race as a full-time Cup driver.

Pre-race: The garage opens at 10:30 a.m. ET. Driver introductions will take place at 2:38 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage begins with "Countdown to Green" on NBC at 2 p.m. ET. Race coverage continues on NBC at 3 p.m. ET.

Major Nathan Tarr, Wing Chaplain, 161st Air Refueling Wing will give the invocation at 3:14 p.m. ET. The United States Air Force Band in Washington D.C, The Singing Sergeants will perform the national anthem at 3:15 p.m. ET.

Stages: The race will consist of three stages. The first stage ends at Lap 60. The second stage ends at Lap 185. The scheduled end of the race is Lap 312.

Playoff picture: The first three rounds of the playoffs are complete. Only four drivers remain in contention for the Cup title. Two-time champion Joey Logano and reigning champion Ryan Blaney are back in the Championship 4 with their sight set on another title.

Tyler Reddick makes his first appearance in the Championship 4 while William Byron makes his second. Both drivers seek their first title in the finale.

Past winners: Multiple Cup Series drivers have celebrated wins at Phoenix Raceway, a track that underwent a reconfiguration in 2017-18. Jimmie Johnson leads the active drivers with four wins at the 1-mile track. Logano and Kyle Busch each have three Phoenix wins.

Denny Hamlin has two Phoenix wins while Chase Elliott, Ross Chastain, Christopher Bell, William Byron, Chase Briscoe, Kyle Larson, and Martin Truex Jr. all have one win.
