Arrow McLaren Racing announced earlier in the week that it had agreed to a multi-year contract extension with Chevrolet. This ensures that the championship-contending team will continue representing the Bowtie with its new-look driver lineup.

Days later, two more teams announced engine partner extensions. Ed Carpenter Racing and Team Penske will both continue to use Chevrolet engines while closing out the current era of IndyCar cars and moving into the next in 2028.

"Our first 15 seasons were all with Chevrolet — and now, that relationship will continue into the next era of (IndyCar) competition," Ed Carpenter Racing (ECR) wrote on X.

"We're proud to announce a multi-year extension of our long-standing partnership with (Team Chevy), keeping ECR powered by Chevrolet into the future."

Ed Carpenter Racing officially entered the grid in 2012, kicking off what has been a 15-year journey in the sport. The team owner scored the first win in the season finale at Auto Club Speedway and has since gone on to collect eight wins while serving as a home to multiple drivers.

Team Penske, for comparison, has officially been partnered with Chevrolet since the 1986 season. Though the championship-winning organization fielded Chevrolet race cars decades earlier.

These two organizations have combined to celebrate 125 wins. This includes nine Indianapolis 500 wins with Rick Mears, Emerson Fittipaldi, Helio Castroneves, Juan Pablo Montoya, Will Power, Simon Pagenaud, and Josef Newgarden.

"Chevrolet has been a terrific partner for our NTT IndyCar Series team, both on and off the track," said team owner Roger Penske. "While winning on the track is certainly important, Team Penske's partnership with Chevrolet extends far beyond that.

"We are excited that this extension will take us well into the future as we work to build on the success we have enjoyed together in the IndyCar Series."
