Rahal's wife, Courtney, provided both updates on her social media platforms. She first revealed that Alaskan Malamutes Arrow and Beau were missing and that their trackers seemingly showed both dogs being picked up by a vehicle just outside of their home.

The update also said that the tracker traveled from Yorba Linda, California, to Tustin. The tracker then went back to Brea before being left on the side of the road in some bushes. Only the tracker had been discarded. The dog still had a collar on.

Rahal spoke to TMZ and said that the Orange County Sheriff's Department had come to his home on Tuesday night so that they could file a police report. He then visited the locations where the tracker stopped in an effort to possibly obtain surveillance footage.

Courtney has since provided a more positive update. She posted a photo on Instagram Stories that showed the two dogs back in their home.

"FOUND," she wrote. "Our boys were found in Irvine and they are HOME! We are so thankful! Couldn't have done it without this amazing community."

An Ohio native, Rahal has competed in IndyCar since the 2007 when he scored four podium finishes as a rookie. He has made nearly 400 starts while driving for multiple powerhouse teams.

Rahal has celebrated six wins in his career. He scored his first on the streets of St. Petersburg in 2008. He then won at Auto Club Speedway and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2015. He scored his fourth win at Texas Motor Speedway in 2016.

Rahal's last two races were a weekend sweep. He won both races on the Belle Isle street course in Michigan in 2017.

The veteran driver just closed out his age 37 season. He posted three podium finishes while driving for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
