Iowa Slashes IndyCar Ticket Prices To Help Attendance

Iowa Speedway is slashing its IndyCar ticket prices in an attempt to raise attendance at the event. The Iowa Speedway track promoters for the Hy-Vee Race Weekend have reduced ticket prices in four seating sections at the track.

The NTT IndyCar Series will head to Iowa Speedway for a doubleheader weekend on July 13th and July 14th. The event in Iowa is a big one. There are popular musical stars that are brought out to perform before and after each race on Saturday and Sunday. This year, the Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend included performances by Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band and Ed Sheeran.

The best part of it all is that as a fan, the race ticket includes seeing these performances. This leaves fans not having to pay extra for tickets to see some of the most popular musicians in the music industry.

"The concert lineup for the 2024 Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend is expected to be announced in the coming weeks." The track announced.

For the tickets in 2024, the base price will be $55-$65 as opposed to $100 in 2023. The four seating sections range from $65-$88 on Saturday and $55 to $73 on Sunday.

The major reason for the cut in ticket prices is to try and sell the venue out both Saturday and Sunday. This is something that has not been done in the event's history.

Along with the ticket prices going down. The track will keep its "Free Family Friday" where there is no cost of admission.
