The Kentucky-based company announced its return to Richard Childress Racing on Jan. 21 and confirmed that the No. 8 Chevrolet will feature a new scheme. Rebel Bourbon will showcase this new scheme during select Cup races in 2025, starting with Circuit of the Americas on March 2.

Rebel Bourbon and Richard Childress Racing did not provide the rest of Busch's sponsorship schedule.

The two companies previously revealed the new scheme with a teaser video in December 2024. They briefly showed off the wood-grain design on the top half of the car, the "charred" dark bottom half resembling the insides of barrels, and the new "live against the grain" motto.

"Rebel Bourbon did a tremendous job of promoting the partnership in their inaugural season," said Torrey Galida, president of Richard Childress Racing, in a statement.

"The authentic connection between Rebel Bourbon and RCR allows us to showcase our shared core values and celebrate our rebel spirit. We are excited to expand their program during the 2025 season and look forward to building on the established momentum."

The alcohol company made its debut last season after agreeing to a multi-year partnership with Richard Childress Racing and Busch. It first took over the No. 8 Chevrolet at Richmond Raceway as Busch finished 20th.

Rebel Bourbon returned to Busch and the No. 8 team for World Wide Technology Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The 2024 season was the worst of Busch's career, statistically speaking. He went winless for the first time as a full-time Cup Series driver and posted his worst average finish (18.3) since his rookie season (21.0).

Returning to RCR for another year provides the two-time Cup Series champion with an opportunity to rebound. The No. 8 team will continue largely unchanged, but the organization will feature other moves behind the scenes to improve competitiveness.
