Richard Childress Racing dropped the new look on Monday with a reveal video. The team confirmed that Rebel Bourbon will return and that the spirit company will use a design resembling a bourbon barrel.

The No. 8 Chevrolet will still feature the black and brown color scheme, but the car will have a wood grain design on the hood and the roof. The car will feature the slogan, "Live against the grain" on the rear fenders.

Rebel Bourbon's return was expected considering that the original announcement in January said that the company had signed a multi-year deal with RCR. Rebel Bourbon made its move into NASCAR as a primary partner of Busch in "select races" in both 2024 and '25.

"We looked at a lot of sponsorship opportunities across several different leagues, and this was the perfect fit," said Philip Lux, brand manager for Rebel Bourbon, in a January statement. "We didn't just want to put our logo on something and call it a day.

"We wanted a team who does their own thing and embodies the essence of our brand. With Kyle and the RCR team, we found the perfect partner to bring the spirit and attitude of the Rebel brand to fans who feel the same way."

Rebel Bourbon made its debut at Richmond Raceway in the spring. The company returned for World Wide Technology Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. The two-time Cup champion's best finish with Rebel Bourbon on the No. 8 was 20th at Richmond as he went through the worst statistical season of his career.

Busch went winless for the first time in his full-time career and he ended the season with only five top-five finishes and 10 top-10s.

Next season will provide Busch with another opportunity to get back to victory lane. He will continue working with crew chief Randall Burnett, but the organization will make other moves to become more competitive.

Former crew chief Johnny Klausmeier will move from Stewart-Haas Racing to become RCR's technical director. He will oversee all technical engineering activities for the organization. Meanwhile, interim competition director Keith Rodden will become vice president of competition.
