Stan has two films currently in post-production and four others in other stages of development. The long-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2026, as Stan reprises his role as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier. The dramatic film Fjord does not yet have an official release date, per IMDB. The film is currently in the post-production stage of the process.

Wallis, for comparison, just starred alongside Chris Pratt in the futuristic film Mercy. She will next be seen starring alongside Jason Statham in Mutiny, which releases in August. She will also have a role in the upcoming film Unabom, which focuses on the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski.

While the two actors have extensive ties to drama projects across television and cinema, Stan has particular ties to sports films.

The Romania-born actor sported a mustache in 2017's I, Tonya. He portrayed Jeff Gillooly, the ex-husband of figure skater Tonya Harding. Gillooly helped plan an attack on figure skater Nancy Kerrigan. He was later sentenced to two years in prison and had to pay a $100,000 fine.

The year 2017 also saw Stan taking on the role of a racecar driver in Logan Lucky. The film centered two brothers and some co-conspirators pulling off a heist at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Coca-Cola 600 crown jewel race.

Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig, Jack Quaid, and Brian Gleeson made up the core members of the heist crew. Stan played a NASCAR driver named Dayton White, who crashed in the middle of the Coca-Cola 600 after an issue with his blood sugar levels.
