Jamie Wainwright, a rider for Revo Seven Kawasaki and Apex Motocross among other teams, has passed away at the age of 28.

According to an obituary, Wainwright passed away on Aug. 26. No cause of death was provided, but the Mirror reports that he died following a motorcycle incident.
Wainwright is survived by his parents, Chris and Karen; brothers Ben and Matt; and fiancee Hannah among others.
"This hurts more than anything in this world, and life feels impossible without you in it," Hannah wrote in a tribute. "My heart has broken into a million pieces; a life without you is something I never imagined would ever happen.
"I love you more than anything in this world. My right arm, my best friend, the person I would go to for anything and everything.
"The person who made me laugh 24/7, the most gorgeous person inside and out; you were my whole world. 13 years with you have been the best years of my life.
"I will miss and love you for every second of the rest of my life. Nothing is ever going to be the same; this world feels so scary without you here.
"You knew I worshipped the ground you walked on and would have done anything in this world for you; it was us forever. I hope you continue to look down on me as I'm really going to need you."
Wainwright competed in the British pro ranks for several years while racing for multiple teams. He achieved success in the British MX2 class while racing for Revo Seven Kawasaki and Apex Motocross.
He competed in the AMCA ranks in both 2019 and 2020, winning the MX2 championship each season. The COVID-altered 2020 campaign, in particular, featured him winning 10 of the 12 events in which he competed. He won the title by 72 points over Ryan Crowder.
He fell short of the title in 2023, but he finished fifth in the MX2 PRO ACU British series and 3rd in the Fastest 40 series.
