The actor/racer delivered a message that showed frustrations without specifically pointing fingers at anyone. The message was still enough to create some concern among the members of Muniz's fanbase.

"Can't sleep. Hard when you realize your friends aren't really your friends," Muniz wrote on X.

A large number of people saw the message and immediately weighed in. Fellow actor Dean Cain told Muniz to hang in there while another person weighed in with a different take. This X user said that it's better to realize than to "continue to be used."

"It's better to realize it than think they are something they aren't," another X user added. "And real friends are out there waiting to be discovered or formed. In the meantime be strong from within. Best of luck to ya."

The message from Muniz followed what had been a big week. He had taken important steps in both of his careers, which created excitement for a large group of people.

One announcement focused on Muniz's racing career. He posted a message on X saying that he was making his first trip of the 2025 NASCAR season. He was en route to Charlotte so that he could do a seat fitting with Reaume Brothers Racing.

This is a huge step for Muniz, who makes a full-time move to the Craftsman Truck Series. He has made limited starts in the past with support from Ford Performance, but 2025 will be his first season where he can compete for points, a spot in the playoffs, and Rookie of the Year.

The other big piece of news highlighted his acting career. Muniz confirmed that he will join Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek for the "Malcolm in the Middle" revival ordered by Disney+. According to Variety, Disney has ordered four episodes. No premiere date is set.

"Malcolm (Muniz) and his daughter are drawn into the family's chaos when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party," the official logline states.
