Craftsman Truck Series and Xfinity Series teams will practice and qualify on Friday as they prepare for Saturday's doubleheader. Cup Series teams will also be at the track, but they will only take part in the pre-race inspection process.
Carson Hocevar, who now competes full-time in Cup for Spire Motorsports, won last season's Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The only driver with a previous win in the Truck lineup this weekend will be Ty Majeski, who seeks a spot in the Championship 4. He enters the weekend five points above the cutline.
Sam Mayer, who seeks a spot in the Xfinity Series Championship 4, is the defending winner at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Mayer and reigning champion Cole Custer are the only drivers in the lineup for Saturday's Xfinity race with a previous win at the Florida track.
Mayer is 23 points below the cutline entering Saturday's race while Custer is 16 points above the cutline.
Two drivers will be particularly busy this weekend.
Connor Zilisch, who moves to Xfinity full-time next season, will pull double duty. Zilisch will drive for Henderson Motorsports in the Truck Series race and then for JR Motorsports in the Xfinity Series race as he makes his racing debut at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
William Sawalich, who also moves to Xfinity full-time in 2025, will pull double duty. He will drive for Tricon Garage in the Truck race and Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity race.
