The Xfinity Series and Cup Series teams will practice in preparation for their respective championship races. Craftsman Truck Series teams will qualify and then complete their season with a Friday night race.
ARCA Menards Series West teams will also be on the track Friday. They will race for the final time this season. William Sawalich will lead the field to the green flag after winning the pole in Thursday's qualifying session.
Last season's Truck Series championship race ended with two teams celebrating. Christian Eckes won the race but was not eligible for the championship. He had been eliminated in the Round of 8.
Ben Rhodes finished fifth in the Truck Series race, but he won the championship. He crossed the line ahead of Grant Enfinger, Corey Heim, and Carson Hocevar. This was Rhodes's second championship in three seasons.
Rhodes is not eligible for the title this season. He was eliminated in the Round of 10. Eckes, however, is one of four drivers competing for the championship. He joins Heim, Enfinger, and Ty Majeski.
