According to the weekly penalty report, ThorSport Racing driver Conner Jones and Front Row Motorsports crew chief Dylan Cappello have both received one-race suspensions. They will be eligible to return to the Craftsman Truck Series competition after the race weekend at Martinsville Speedway.

NASCAR suspended Jones for wrecking fellow driver Matt Mills, an incident that led to Mills spending multiple days in a Miami-area hospital. The penalty report said that Jones violated the Rule Book, Sections 4.3.A; 4.4.B: NASCAR Member Code of Conduct.

Officials held Jones for two laps during Saturday's race after he wrecked Mills and unleashed a tirade over the radio. Jones did not speak to media members after the race but later issued a statement on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The No. 38 Ford F-150 of Front Row Motorsports came under scrutiny ahead of the race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The truck went through tech on Friday, Oct. 25, and then Layne Riggs took part in practice and qualifying.

However, NASCAR re-weighed the No. 38 Ford on Oct. 26 and discovered that it was underweight. The team had to add weight back, which fell under the category of an unapproved adjustment. NASCAR officials then confiscated Riggs's steering wheel.

The penalty report stated that the team violated the Rule Book, Section 14.3.4.A&B: Ballast Containers. "Any and all ballast added to the vehicle must be secured inside a ballast container(s). Added ballast must be secured in a manner that will prevent movement of the ballast during the event."

The penalty for this violation includes the one-race suspension for Cappello. Additionally, Front Row Motorsports loses 10 driver points and 10 owner points.

The only other penalties included in the weekly report were for loose lug nuts.

Xfinity Series crew chiefs Andy Street (No. 21), Martin Lindley (No. 1), and Joseph Williams (No. 39) all received $5,000 fines for having one loose lug nut on their respective cars. Truck Series crew chief Charles Walter (No. 71) received a $2,500 fine for having one loose lug nut.
