Wins and a championship are the focus right now, but Front Row Motorsports driver Layne Riggs kicked off the season by making a major life decision. He proposed to girlfriend Kristen Piercy.

Riggs posted several photos of the big moment on his social media channels. This included him getting down on bended knee and asking Piercy to marry him.

He also shared a photo of them kissing, Piercy celebrating, the massive ring, and them doing a celebratory toast. The photoshoot occurred with the city skyline serving as a backdrop.

The celebration continued as the NASCAR season began. The happy couple headed to Daytona International Speedway to kick off the 2026 Craftsman Truck Series season, Riggs's third with Front Row Motorsports.

But first, they celebrated Valentine's Day at a Waffle House. Such is the life of a driver on the road.

The 2026 season has featured Riggs getting back into championship contention. He has made three starts so far, and he has taken the No. 34 team to victory lane. He captured the inaugural Truck Series street race in St. Petersburg, Florida, and he added a historic trophy to his collection.

The Truck Series driver sits fifth in the standings after three races, putting him well above the cutline for The Chase. He has the one win and the fourth-most stage points (24) among Truck Series drivers.

He trails only teammate Chandler Smith (33) and ThorSport Racing drivers Ben Rhodes (26) and Ty Majeski (25) in terms of stage points scored.

The Truck Series teams had two weeks off after the trip to St. Petersburg. Now, they will return to action at a historic track. They will compete at Darlington Raceway on Friday, March 20 (7:30 p.m. ET on FS1).

Riggs only has two starts at The Lady in Black. He won the pole for last season's Truck Series race but ultimately finished 17th after scoring 19 stage points.
