Bubba Wallace Reacts To Rajah Caruth's Las Vegas Win

Bubba Wallace has been passing on some helpful knowledge to Rajah Caruth over the last several years, as both came from NASCAR's Drive for Diversity Program.

And like Wallace, Caruth has now joined him as a NASCAR race winner. Caruth's Truck Series win at Las Vegas made him just the third black driver in the history of the sport to visit victory lane.

Many saw the pair have a heavy conversation following last month's season-opening Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway. Plenty speculated what it was about, but it was just a teaching moment for the 21-year-old Caruth.

It sure appears that Caruth learned something valuable. Wallace was later credited with telling Caruth he would be the first to visit him in victory lane when he won.

Well, Wallace was in Las Vegas when Caruth got the win, but he wasn't at the track at the time.

Instead, Wallace was seen watching the race on a big screen at a fancy hotel in downtown Las Vegas. Bubba's wife Amanda caught his whole reaction in a video they later posted on social media and was shared by @NASCARonNBC on X.

Wallace is proud of what Caruth was able to accomplish in Sin City.

He even told FS1 during Cup practice this past weekend that he was going to use it as motivation for himself.

"I'm going to use the motivation from last night, ole Rajah getting the job done, that was awesome, Wallace said. "Got me excited to get in the car and try to one-up him, I don't know how I'm going to do that. So proud of him."

While Bubba had a strong car going into Sunday's Cup race at Las Vegas, tire issues derailed Wallace's weekend, but at least he had something to be happy about.

It was certainly a huge victory for Rajah and NASCAR as a whole.
