Carson Hocevar has added another unique vehicle to his collection. He has purchased a classic red Cup Series car.

According to Hocevar's posts on social media, he bought the No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger previously driven by Kasey Kahne. This stock car still features all of the sponsor logos and Kahne's name above the windows.

Now, this is Hocevar, a driver who has falsely posted about purchases on social media, so doubts could arise about this particular addition to the collection.

However, he made multiple other posts on social media that confirmed he has the Kahne Charger in his possession. One video featured Hocevar "testing" the No. 9's brake lights and discovering they didn't function. The other video featured him firing up the Cup Series car and then revving the engine.

What will Hocevar do with this new addition to the collection? Well, he provided a hint during a Twitch stream.

The Spire Motorsports driver told his viewers that he "wants to actually drift" a stock car. He said he genuinely believes he can put a handbrake in an old style Cup Series car, so he will try to achieve this.

This bright red Dodge continues a recent trend for the Spire Motorsports driver. Hocevar has found a new hobby that solely features collecting old vehicles from NASCAR history. He has not been at this for long, but he has already found some top-tier selections.

Back in the summer, he purchased a 1997 Silverado decked out in Dale Earnhardt graphics. He drove this truck around North Carolina while turning heads along the way. Hocevar then collected a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass with Buddy Baker's "Gray Ghost" livery.

"I mean, I've always wanted cars or like street legal race cars as a kid," Hocevar said at World Wide Technology Raceway in September. "At Kalamazoo Speedway, near where I'm from, the owner had one of the Intimidator SSs and I thought that was the coolest thing in the world.

"So every time I look on Facebook marketplace, it seems like there are more and more coming up. Either that, or it's my algorithms knowing it or people making these listings knowing I'll probably buy them."

Hocevar noted during that press conference at WWT Raceway that he had his eyes on a Kahne Car of Tomorrow from the 2012 season, but that was only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Hocevar had far more classic cars on his list. He just needed to build a shop to store his collection.

"I have the Oldsmobile, and I'm just trying to collect them all, the Monte Carlo, the Lumina and hopefully the COT but I need to build a shop first," Hocevar said.

"I think what is most fun is any car I get, I'm going to drive it and it's not going to collect dust for the duster to come in on Wednesday. I'm going to drive them."
