According to a Thursday announcement, McFarland will join forces with Niece Motorsports. He will compete in the season-opening Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Feb. 13 (7:30 p.m. ET on FS1).
McFarland will drive the No. 4 Black Rifle Coffee Company Chevrolet Silverado, and he will be teammates with Travis Pastrana as the action sports star drives the No. 42 Brunt Workwear Chevrolet Silverado.
The lineup will also include former Daytona 500 champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who will drive the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado.
This start at Daytona is contingent on another track session. McFarland will have to take part in a preseason test at Rockingham Speedway. NASCAR did not set parameters around him passing this test. They told him to put forth a "valid effort."

"I've been lucky to drive a lot of really cool stuff, but Daytona in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck is a whole new level," McFarland said.
"This is my first time in the series, so I know it's going to push me way outside my comfort zone, and that's what makes it so exciting. I'm incredibly grateful to have partners like Black Rifle Coffee Company, Brunt, and Niece Motorsports backing us every step of the way. We're going to go have some fun and see what this thing can do."
The process of fielding these two entries at Daytona International Speedway will become the subject of a multi-part video series, which will air on Pastrana's YouTube platform, Channel 199. Pastrana and McFarland will also run special schemes for the event, which Niece Motorsports will reveal at a later date.
Of course, Black Rifle Coffee and Brunt Workwear will do far more than sponsor these two drivers. The companies, which both have extensive history in NASCAR, will partner with Niece Motorsports and the drivers to make a combined $100,000 donation to the Boot Campaign.
This organization aims to "honor and restore the lives of Veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving care." Black Rifle Coffee co-founder Mat Best serves on the board of directors for this organization.
