According to a Tuesday announcement, the two former NASCAR champions are the first-ever co-champions of the award recognizing members of the industry who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to giving back.

Busch did so with his wife, Samantha, through their Bundle of Joy Fund. They have awarded more than $2.5 million in grants to help combat infertility. The result is 114 babies being born into the world.

Biffle spent extensive time working to help those impacted by natural disasters. He particularly spent 14 consecutive days after Hurricane Helene flying his personal helicopter to deliver supplies and take part in rescue efforts.

Comcast has pledged $120,000 to be split between two organizations. $60,000 will go to the Bundle of Joy Fund. The other $60,000 will go to the Biffle Family Legacy Impact Fund.

"Kyle and Greg represented what this award stands for, using their platforms to make a difference well beyond the sport," said Matt Lederer, Vice President of Brand Partnerships & Engagement, Comcast.

"Through their compassion, generosity and commitment to helping others, they made a lasting impact on countless lives. We are proud to name Kyle and Greg co-champions and celebrate two extraordinary legacies that will continue to inspire others."

The Comcast Community Champion has been around since the 2015 season. It has highlighted several deserving individuals throughout the industry who have made a positive impact in the lives of others.

The group of past winners includes Erik Jones, Daniel Dye, Ryan Vargas, WWT Raceway owner Curtis Francois, Bubba Wallace, Joey Logano, the Chip Ganassi Racing pit crew department, and Joey Gase among others.

Those eligible for the award include team owners and drivers across the three national series, track employees, media members with hard cards, NASCAR officials, NASCAR sponsors/partners, and family members of drivers with hard cards.
