Two drivers have advanced to the Round of 8 with wins. Ryan Blaney won the Round of 12 opener at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Chase Elliott then took advantage of Toyota drivers racing each other aggressively to capture the win at Kansas Speedway.
Kyle Larson heads to the Roval in the best position among the rest of the drivers. He has a 54-point cushion to the cutline. All he needs to advance to the next round is secure 16 points. Denny Hamlin is next with a 48-point cushion. He needs 22 points.
The rest of the drivers above the Round of 8 cutline include Christopher Bell (+44), William Byron (+40), Chase Briscoe (+21), and Joey Logano (+13).

"I'm proud of our team," said Bell, who finished third at Kansas Speedway. "We are doing a really good job of controlling what we can control and getting good finishes out of it and we are running well too.
"I'm excited about the Roval, we've been really excited about the road courses and we have some breathing room, so it should be a lot of fun."
Bell is one of the few drivers who can feel comfortable heading to the Roval. He has a solid cushion to the cutline. Others, however, are in less favorable positions. This includes Briscoe, who went from one point above the cutline to 20.
It also includes Logano, who heads to the Roval elimination race on the plus side of the cutline despite being collected in a multi-car crash in the final stage. He gained eight stage points early in the race, which helped him keep some momentum.
"We're plus-13. It is what it is," Logano said after finishing in 21st place. "We've got to go race, but it's gonna be close."
The driver closest to Logano in points is Ross Chastain. The Trackhouse Racing driver is 13 points below the cutline after finishing 11th. He leads Bubba Wallace (-26), who went from leading in double overtime to hitting the wall while racing Hamlin.
Tyler Reddick is 29 points below the cutline after missing out on points in the first two stages due to issues on pit road. He still finished the race in seventh place.
"It was a tough day," Reddick said. "I really thought our Beast Toyota Camry was really fast. We just had struggles on pit road. That's part of racing. It's tough. Obviously, there's only one thing we can do at Charlotte and that's what we'll be focused on."
Austin Cindric is last in the standings. He is 48 points below the cutline after missing out on stage points and getting collected in the same crash as Logano. He has to win at the Roval to advance.
