Dale Earnhardt Jr. Wanted to Hire Kyle Busch and Ryan Blaney

A few years ago, Dale Earnhardt Jr. talked to Kyle Busch and Ryan Blaney about having their own podcasts on Dirty Mo Media.

Dirty Mo Media is a content-generating company that was created by Earnhardt and Mike Davis. The company has many podcasts with many familiar names in racing including Earnhardt, Denny Hamlin, Conor Daly, TJ Majors, Brett Griffin, Freddie Kraft and more. It also produces videos for social media and conducts interviews with different drivers and public figures.

The company started in 2013 when Davis and Earnhardt created their podcast "The Dale Jr. Download." It was just Earnhardt recording a debrief after the races on his phone and sending them to Davis. Davis would then go on the microphone and host the show. After a while, Earnhardt made his way into the studio and became a co-host on the show.

Earnhardt recently joined Kenny Wallace on his podcast "The Kenny Wallace Show" to talk about Dirty Mo Media and more. While discussing Dirty Mo Media, Wallace was intrigued about how they got Hamlin to join and have his own podcast, "Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin." This process went a lot easier than Earnhardt had planned.

"We talked to Denny," Earnhardt said. "I did not think Denny was gonna be interested. We went and met with him and his team; we spelled it out in front of him."

"We've had big conversations with Kyle Busch and other drivers about doing a podcast with us at Dirty Mo Media," Earnhardt said. "I talked to Blaney a couple years ago about his podcast and if he's going to continue to do it, if he would move it over to Dirty Mo Media."

Imagine a podcast with Busch when he was driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. There would have been some major intrigue for fans to listen to. Busch has given some of the most memorable quotes at the racetrack. Give him his own show for an hour a week, and the fans would tune in looking for more headline-worthy quotes from him.

Same goes for Blaney. He would have to go on his show and address all of his mini meltdowns in the car during the races. It would be great to hear Blaney go in depth about what he is thinking during those moments when he gets frustrated. Blaney is a fan favorite and would generate audience as well.

Earnhardt wants to get more drivers to do their own podcasts for Dirty Mo Media. He had tried to get two of the sport's biggest stars before landing Hamlin.

Even though Dirty Mo Media did not land Busch or Blaney, it does not seem as if there will be any stopping anytime soon, as Dirty Mo Media continues to grow into one of the biggest content-creation companies out there.
